The Trevor Project posted about us on Facebook!
The DFCR fan community is amazing. We are in awe by the contributions of your fandom to our charity. Thank you for your selfless passion and inspired efforts. Everyone who participated in and gave to this fundraiser is a true life-saver.
Thank you for everything that you do every day. We’re insanely lucky to have such a passionate, talented fandom, and everything they did with this event just proves how much good people can do when they have a common goal.

Well, guys, our amazing anonymous donor wants to give away 5 Glee Live 3D DVDs when they come out. “Like” this post anytime before the release date and she’ll pick 5 of you at random when they come out!
The tweet from The Trevor Project! (We tweeted them right after with an updated total).
Hi again, everybody! We have some fantastic updates for you.
First off, due to some WePay display glitches, it looks like you did not raise $8,130 during the DFCR livestream. You raised closer to $8700l (exact final total pending). This is mindblowing, and further proof of the power of the fandom.
Secondly, on the WePay note, we know there were some issues with donations. We’ve spoken at length to the extremely helpful people at WePay, and they have been resolving issues as quickly as possible. If you are concerned about your donation, please contact them directly at support@wepay.com and be sure to include our event link - http://www.wepay.com/public/view/87117 - so they can help you.
Finally, The Trevor Project tweeted us just a little while ago, and posted about DFCR on Facebook! We’ll be reblogging the posts momentarily, but just remember, YOU DID THIS! You made a difference, and it’s being recognized. Be proud!

And it starts at 7pm. So, in about 15 minutes.
We received everyone’s receipts. We just haven’t yet had a chance to get back to the people who won items. We left for Chicago right when we woke up the day after the livestream, and we just got back. Right now we’re just tying up loose ends. It’s been an incredibly hectic few days.
Tomorrow, we’ll get started on contacting everyone. We will give the donor your contact information, and we’ll give you the donor’s tumblr. Don’t worry if we don’t get to you right away; there are a lot of people to get a hold of. You’ll have the information by Wednesday at the latest.
The letters we’ll be reading during tonight’s livestream are the ones written about DFCR and the fandom itself. None of the letters that are addressed to Darren will be read.
Don’t worry, we will be including all the letters we received in the package we’re putting together for Darren. But just so you know, if you want to write Darren a fanletter, there are other ways of sending it in. The address is:
Schumacher Management
10323 Santa Monica Blvd STE101
Los Angeles California, 90024
And as a reminder, the livestream will be at 7pm EST. We will try to read all the letters about the fandom, but there are a lot to get through. So if we don’t get to yours, just know it will still be included in the package.
Hi everyone!
We wanted to tell you all that Darren does, in fact, know. About DFCR.
We were in contact with Ricky, Darren’s manager, after the DFCR livestream finished. He forwarded the information to Darren and we got the opportunity to meet Darren after his (incredible) show at Northalstead Market Days tonight.
We told him, again, how incredible you all are, and presented him with a novelty check (featuring a dinosaur and a rainbow) in the amount $8130 (ish - since there is some money still coming in from a few sources).
He was blown away by the amount of money raised, and that it happened in the first place. He was so proud of you guys. He and Ricky also know that we’ll be sending Darren and package with all of your letters and a copy of the albums.
We’re doing a special livestream tomorrow (at DCFansCharityRockout), Sunday August 14th, at 7pm EST, where we’ll talk more about Darren’s reaction to DFCR. We’ll also read the fandom letters that we couldn’t get to during the DFCR livestream.
Thanks again for everything. You’re all ridiculously amazing. None of this could have happened without you.
